This project allows me to choose an animal, plant or nature where we study the unique individual features of what we have adopted and transformed it into a living condition. I came up with our narrative to compliment our ‘Genius of Nature.’

The genius of my animal is the Pangolin as it had caught my attention.

I have studied the nature, instinct and uniqueness of the pangolin, and what interest me the most was the way it defense itself against predators.

The physical appearance of a pangolin is marked by LARGE, HARDENED, OVERLAPPING PLATE SCALES, which are soft on newborn pangolins, but harden as the animal matures.

The arrangement of the scales in an overlapping hexagonal pattern around a central scale also ensures that no part of the pangolin is exposed when it moves or curls up. The arrangement also enables scales to slide over each Other, making the armor very flexible.

NARRATIVE

In a war-torn city, a group of survivor roam the empty alley to find a devastated town with numerous motionless body around. Feeling dejected, the survivors find the need to carry on living; however, nothing was in place. Among them was a passionate designer with creative ideas of what he wanted the city to be. Scrap metal, destroyed concrete, thick black fog surround the town that used to be crowded and packed with visitors. A thick cloud of black smoke hung around the city for weeks; then they decided that they wanted to rebuild what was left and given to them.
